FurrySide Terms and Conditions

This agreement ("FurrySide Policy") outlines the terms under which FurrySide and its affiliated entities ("FurrySide") offer you access to its immersive 3D virtual environment. This offer is contingent upon your acceptance of all terms and conditions contained within this FurrySide Policy, including the Terms of Service ("Terms of Service") and Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy"), as well as any additional policies referenced herein (collectively, the "Agreements"). Should you disagree with these terms, you must decline this FurrySide Policy, thereby prohibiting your access to or use of the FurrySide platform.

In the event of any conflict among the Agreements, the Terms of Service shall take precedence unless explicitly stated otherwise. All capitalized terms used herein shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Service, unless otherwise defined.

1. CONTENT LICENSES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

1.1 Ownership and Usage of Intellectual Property
FurrySide retains all intellectual property rights pertaining to its platform and all associated branding elements. You acknowledge and agree that no license or authorization is granted to use any trademarks, service marks, or proprietary visual content related to FurrySide without an explicit, formal license.
With respect to any open-source software components made available by FurrySide, their use is governed by the terms of the applicable open-source license.
Creators retain intellectual property rights to the objects they create. In the event of any dispute regarding user-generated content, the user agrees to indemnify FurrySide and to be bound by FurrySide's decision concerning the content's presence on the platform.

1.2 Limited License for User-Generated Media
FurrySide encourages creative expression through features such as in-world snapshots and machinima. Subject to your adherence to all applicable terms and conditions, limited copyright licenses are granted as detailed in the FurrySide Snapshot and Machinima Policy.

1.3 Content Usage License Grant
By displaying content in publicly accessible areas of FurrySide, you grant other users a license to utilize your content within snapshots and machinima, as further specified in the Snapshot and Machinima Policy.

1.4 Control Over Content Visibility
Should you wish to restrict access to your content, you are responsible for implementing appropriate measures to limit its visibility within private regions or controlled access areas.

1.5 Content Permissions Management System
Content permissions are managed through the platform's integrated tools, empowering creators to define the conditions under which their content may be used, reproduced, or distributed by others.

1.6 Intellectual Property Compliance
You agree to respect the intellectual property rights of all users, FurrySide, and third parties. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of protected content outside the platform is strictly prohibited.

2. ELIGIBILITY TO USE FURRYSIDE

2.1 Age Requirements
The following age restrictions are in effect:
• Users aged 18 and above may access all areas of FurrySide.
• Users aged 16 and above may access general public areas.
• Users aged 14 and above may access designated areas that comply with the platform’s maturity rating system.

2.2 Age and Location Verification
Certain content and activities, particularly those within restricted regions, necessitate verification of age and location. You agree to provide accurate information as required to access these areas through our ticket system (link coming soon).

3. FEE AND BILLING POLICY

3.1 Virtual Currency
FurrySide employs a system of virtual tokens known as FurryBucks. These virtual tokens represent a limited license granted by FurrySide to facilitate transactions within the platform. FurryBucks are subject to platform policies and possess no real-world monetary value.

3.2 Virtual Currency Exchange
The FurrySide platform offers a currency exchange at "FurrySide Welcome" region. Transactions conducted outside of this official exchange are not permitted.

3.3 Virtual Land
The platform provides access to Virtual Land, which constitutes licensed virtual space. Virtual Land is subject to licensing fees and the terms outlined in the Virtual Land Policy. Ownership of Virtual Land does not confer any real-world property rights.

4. USER CONDUCT
Users are expected to uphold community standards and conduct themselves in a manner consistent with platform policies. Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:
• Posting or sharing illegal, offensive, or adult content outside of designated areas.
• Engaging in fraudulent activities, scams, or harassment of other users.
• Exploiting platform vulnerabilities or otherwise disrupting the experience of other users.
• Engaging in unauthorized financial transactions using any platform currencies.
• Any depiction of child sexual abuse material, whether in text or imagery. Nude child avatars are strictly prohibited.
Violation of these policies may result in the temporary suspension or permanent termination of account access.

5. TERMINATION AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
FurrySide reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for any violation of its policies. Users may also request account termination at any time; however, no refunds will be issued for any unused virtual currency or land licenses.
Upon account termination, all associated content and virtual assets will be forfeited. Users are responsible for ensuring they do not retain assets they are unwilling to lose.

6. PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. FurrySide collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By utilizing the platform, you consent to this data collection and agree to the terms detailed within the Privacy Policy.

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes arising in connection with FurrySide must first be addressed through the platform's internal support system. If a resolution cannot be reached through this process, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FurrySide operates.

8. CHANGES TO TERMS
FurrySide reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
